My background includes:
- Twenty five years in government, crown corporation, non-profit and private sector administration. After graduating with my Masters Degree In Administration (U of Victoria), I pursued a career in the provincial government of Alberta and British Columbia. This included a role as an Ombudsman at the University of Alberta Hospitals. I relocated to British Columbia in 1987 to join the Real Estate industry as a general manager of the provincial real estate association.
- In 2002, I retired from the position of Executive Officer at the British Columbia Real Estate Association after fifteen years of service to pursue advanced graduate studies at the University of British Columbia and be involved directly in real estate sales and development. This has given me the flexibility to be involved in the academic world while serving the public in a business that I have come to respect and enjoy.
- My knowledge of the industry in British Columbia provides my clients with an in-depth experience in both the practical aspects of the real estate business, and the trends that will affect real estate in the future. The many contacts I have developed over the past twenty three years allows my client access to a range of expertise as well.
- The understanding I have of the industry is complimented by being part of Dexter Associates Realty. As the chief executive officer for the Provincial Association, I was able to observe the operations of the best companies, and Dexter's is simply the best real estate company in Greater Vancouver.
